Sandrine CASSANT

Very much attached to Provence where I have spent 17 years of my life, I provide tailor-made welcome and assistance services to firms’ executives or to individuals who relocate in this beautiful region.

My ambition is to contribute making Provence a second “home” for them and to see them one day return to their home country aware of the enrichment they have gained trough their experience here.

Going abroad and return stronger...

When they have the opportunity to travel or to live in a new area, people can discover new ways of life, new mentalities, new landscapes, new cultures.

To exchange my points of view and listen to divergent opinions, to share simple convivial moments and invent new original solutions to overcome the communication issues with my interlocutors, to learn from other people’s experiences… these are to me the real and fascinating stakes of international mobility.

During my last four stays in England, in Germany, in Madagascar and in the United States, I personally went through the administrative, linguistic, practical and emotional issues related to my mobility.

In Princeton, New Jersey, I met a woman whose job was to help expatriates with their relocation process. For example, she would help them to find an apartment and organize tours in the area to familiarize them with their new environment. She also gave them all the useful information on administrative matters and accompanied them to the different offices whenever they would need it. More than a mere translator, she was the main resourceful referent for many families whom she also helped to integrate and build a social network… Relocation Services: here is a great example of a brilliant concept that we should definitely promote in France and all around the world!

I am absolutely convinced of the benefits! After my return from the New World, I decided to start up my own relocation company: Portail Sud was born!
